Sharon Lieberman Biography

Sharon
Lieberman was the health editor of Majority Report, New York
City's first feminist newspaper, a member of HealthRight, a women's
health education collective, and among the founding members of CARASA.
After
moving from Manhattan to Chicago in 1983, she became involved in
HERS. Over a period of ten years, she organized and conducted three
rounds of the HERS on-site evaluation of Chicago abortion clinics.
Sharon
has written on women's health for Self, Lilith, Health/PAC, and
The Women's Review of Books, among others. She holds a graduate
degree in Health Sciences and writes grant proposals for a large
health care institution.
