Jane in the Theater

In the fall of 1999 Chicago's Green Highway Theater produced Jane: Abortion and the Underground by Chicago based writer Paula Kamen(pictured at left).

Directed by Jonel Winter, it was based on interviews with former Jane volunteers and extensive research. We have some publicity materials and an excerpt from the play.

WORT Radio Feature Story: A 20 minute radio feature story with members of the Millennium Theater's cast and author Paula Kamen. The Millennium Theater produced the play in the summer of 2001 in Madison, Wisconsin. (requires Quicktime 3.0 or above)

The Play Poster: Designed and produced by Estelle Carol. It was based on a poster Estelle did for the Chicago Women's Graphics Collective circa 1970.
